Standard de Liège and Yannick FERRERA have reached an agreement : the 34-year old Belgian coach becomes the new head coach of our team and has signed a contract for 2 seasons (till June 2017).
Yannick, born in Uccle on the 24th of September 1980, was one of the assistants of Francky DURY at KAA Gent during the season 2010-2011. After that he went to Saoedi-Arabia where he became the assistant of Michel PREUD'HOMME at Al Shabab Riyad.
In July 2012 he signed his first contract as the head coach of Sporting Charleroi. He immediately became the youngest head coach in the history of the Jupiler Pro League.
In 2013 he arrived at STVV. There he won the championship last year in the second division.
